C'mon... It's Bling!

Ok, so part two of the previously mentioned party. It was a treat. Upon inspecting the onslaught of toques that descended onto the party I was caught a little off guard. I don't know why, it shouldn't have caught me off guard, but it did. Shining out underneath the white toque that was the current target of our conversation, was the largest piece of ice I have seen in a long time. Maybe I should set the scene. Very upper middle class, frat boy mentality, and white as could be. All I could see was this rock shining out across the room. You know those movie moments when peoples teeth get the classic pearly sparkle, it was like that, only it was pretty dark in the room, and it was coming off of his ear. I immediately starting laughing and we got onto the topic of the Bling that descended on the party.

OK, I know, to be fair, I really should say that for all I know it could be cubic zirconia. Regardless, it was bad. Well at least that is what i thought. One friend I was talking to admitted that although he mocks it, he could easily see himself enjoying the glistening ears of the oversized diamonds. Well actually, diamonds in general. He just liked the presence of diamonds. I on the other hand can't see myself either enjoying it or even being intrigued by the presence of a diamond anywhere on my body, especially if it was visible. It did get me thinking though. What is my little bling admission?

What could I really enjoy sporting. I have to admit i think it would be really funny to have a clip on gold tooth. I knew a guy in South Africa from Durban who appeared one day with a gold tooth. He never had it before, but today he had this amazing shine on his tooth. I didn' even know that clip on gold teeth existed. Ever since that day I have thought it would be cool to have a clip on grill that i could sport ever once in a while. You know, at parent teacher interviews and that.
